Frequently Asked Questions
What pitch speeds and ball options do you offer?
We feature multiple cages for both baseball and softball. Baseball cages offer three selectable speeds (40/50/60 mph or 50/60/70 mph). Fast-pitch softball speeds offer 40/50/60mph in each cage, and slow-pitch softball features arc/underhand pitches for all skill levels.
Can you set the pitch height in your cages?
Absolutely! Once you select a speed and start a round, you can use the up and down arrows on the control box to adjust pitch height. Left-handed batters also have pitch height controls on their side of the bay so they don't have to cross in front of the machine.
How do the batting cages work? Do I need tokens or cards?
We use modern play cards instead of tokens! You can purchase play cards with any number of rounds at the counter or kiosk. Simply tap your card at the bay control panel to start a round of 15 pitches.
What happens if I don't use all the rounds on my play card?
You simply take your play card home with you and bring it back on your next visit. You can also reload additional rounds onto your card at any time.
What if I lose my play card?
Don't worry! Simply visit the front desk and provide your name, phone number, or email. We can look up your account and print or email you a digital QR code so you can instantly access and play with your remaining balance.
Do I need to bring my own bat and helmet?
You are welcome to bring your own personal gear! However, we also provide complimentary helmets and bats for adults and youth players at no extra cost.
Are helmets required in the batting cages?
Yes, safety is our top priority. All hitters are required to wear a protective helmet with a face guard while inside the batting cages at all times.
Can teams or individuals reserve a batting cage by the hour?
Yes! We offer hourly cage rentals for baseball and softball teams or individuals wanting dedicated practice time. Reservations are recommended for hourly rentals.
What footwear is required in the cages?
Standard athletic sneakers or turf shoes are required. Cleats with metal spikes are strictly prohibited inside the batting cage netting.
What happens if it rains while we are using the outdoor cages?
For safety reasons, outdoor batting cages close during rain or thunder. If severe weather interrupts your hourly rental, our staff will gladly issue rain checks for unused time.
